Statement of Purpose
The purpose of Harbor Home Educators Support Group is to bring together like-minded homeschooling families who are committed to providing a quality education for their children, along with a moral home environment. It is not the purpose of this group to usurp the authority of the local church. Nor do we want to assume the God-given rights of each parent to train, teach, and bring up their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. We do hope, however, to encourage and strengthen homeschool families by having regularly scheduled meeting and gatherings for the purpose of sharing teaching ideas, materials, and activities.
